The objective of the partnership is to promote entrepreneurship initiatives within the University At the end of , the USP Innovation Agency, the USP Technological Innovation Center, and the Alencar Burti Sebrae-SP Business School signed a cooperation agreement with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship initiatives within the University. Through the partnership, methodologies and events developed by the Business School and Sebrae will be adapted to the USP environment, complementing existing actions in the local entrepreneurship ecosystem. In the first activity of the partnership, the entrepreneurship team from the USP Innovation Agency monitored a class from the Business School's speed mentoring program for a month, a program to raise awareness of entrepreneurial skills and tools to help with project development and validation.
The group was made up of entrepreneurs from the st edition of Pitch GOV SP, a program to attract start-up companies with solutions for public administration, created by the Government of the State of São Paulo. The actions resulting from the partnership between Sebrae and the USP Innovation Agency are already underway in projects and programs such as PIXEL, which began activi Whatsapp Number List ties in March this year. The PIXEL program works with the pre-incubation stage and includes, in its first class, seven proposals in areas such as education, health and creative economy. The program is accompanied by facilitators from Sebrae and USP, who until May th, when the first stage of the program ends, will teach workshops that make up the speed mentoring methodology, developing an entrepreneurial outlook. Another result was the event “Entrepreneurship as a career option”, which took place at the end of March and mobilized the USP Innovation Agency and the Alencar Burti Sebrae-SP Business School and the USP Júnior Center.
The action took place in the auditorium of the Physics Institute (IF) at USP and sought to awaken students, especially undergraduates, to the possibilities brought by entrepreneurship. The event was attended by professors Vanderlei Bagnato and Luciane Ortega, coordinators of the USP Innovation Agency, representatives of USP Junior Companies and Antônio Vieira, former junior and founding partner of Umanni, a company focused on Human Capital Management – HCM. The Agency also participated, in February, in the Sebrae Entrepreneur Fair, which welcomed more than thousand people in the edition. At the Alencar Burti Business School stand, lectures and conversations showed the relationship between entrepreneurship and the university context. The USP Innovation Agency presented the Agency's actions, as well as the panorama of entrepreneurship at the University. The stand was also attended by three technology-based companies from USP: Agra, Bright Photomedicine and Pluricell Biotech.
